NUSTARC 2025 Proceeding Full-Paper
- Accepted papers for NU-STARC 2025 will be published in the Scopus indexed proceedings. The application for the proceedings is currently in progress, and we will notify the public once it has been approved.
- Manuscripts should be prepared according to the publisher’s guidelines. Papers submitted to NU-STARC 2025 must adhere to the scope of the conference topics and proceedings, be original, maintain readability, and not be previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- To submit a paper, please follow the provided template, which includes formatting details such as font, page limits, language style, figures, tables, etc. The file name should follow this format: [PaperID_ShortTitle_LastName].
Peer Review for NU-STARC 2025 Papers
- All accepted articles for publication are peer reviewed. The review will use of blind peer review and, when possible, multiple reviewers.
- Reviews must be conducted by expert referees who have been requested to provide unbiased and constructive comments aimed at improving the work.
- The editors of the proceedings are committed to ensuring the quality of the publication and to ensuring that the reported information is ethical, accurate and relevant to the journal.
- Authors are expected to pursue objectiveness and rigor in all aspects of their work, obligated to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes, and the list of authors should accurately reflect those involved in the work.
- Editors, reviewers and authors are encouraged to refer to The Committee on Publishing Ethics (COPE) and to follow its Core practices and guidelines.
The editorial process consists of two stages: Preliminary Review and Peer Review.
1. Preliminary Review
NU-STARC 2025 Editors assess submissions to ensure they align with the conference scope. This review checks fundamental aspects such as topic relevance, structure, language, originality, references, and potential plagiarism. Submissions failing plagiarism checks or deemed out of scope will be rejected immediately.
2. Peer Review
Papers passing the Preliminary Review undergo double-blind peer review by 2-3 independent reviewers, evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Technical Quality: Scientific rigor, accuracy, clarity, and appropriate referencing
- Originality & Relevance: Novelty, significance, and motivation of the research
- Presentation: Adequacy of title, abstract, figures, tables, and conclusion clarity
Decisions:
- Accept – No further revisions required
- Accept with Revisions – Minor changes needed
- Needs Improvement – Major revisions required for further review
- Reject – Due to significant deficiencies
Authors must address reviewers’ comments in detail. A single round of major revisions is typically allowed. In cases of strong disagreement, the Editor or Program Board may provide further assessment.
Plagiarism Policy
NU-STARC 2025 maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy on plagiarism. Papers must be original with proper citations. If plagiarism is detected, actions may include:
- Rejection of the paper or removal from final publications
- Notification to the author’s institution or supervisor
- Reporting to relevant academic and funding bodies
- Public disclosure of the misconduct details
